The Practice

The pillars of Sattva yoga - Himalayan Breathwork, Kriyas and Sattva Meditation - are powerful ancient technologies to refine, balance and upgrade mental, emotional and physical blockages.

  • Himalayan breathwork or Prāṇāyāma प्राणायाम is the practice of advanced breath regulation - it is the art of harnessing the infinite power of life force (prana).

  • Kriyā क्रिया is action that leads to evolution, expansion & liberation - kriya is a practice which allows the body the learn to hold and sustain increased energy & create deep harmony with Creation. In combining pranayama and kriya practices through specific sequences, we aim to expand and enliven our entire experience.

  • Sattva Meditation is a transcendental mantra based practice stemming from the Vedic tradition. It is a complete, simple and effortless technique which consists of a breathwork practice, a specific Kriya technique, and a personal bija Mantra. It requires a private initiation.

Including mudras, asanas, mantras, deep wisdom, japa & ritual practices, Sattva Yoga integrates all aspects of the yog-vedantic tradition, to ignite & harmonise the whole human experience—body, mind, heart, and soul.
