Terms and Conditions for Dasha Mahavidya Retreat

PRICE

The retreat is all inclusive except for airfare/travel costs to the retreat location (Centre Tripoura, Le Vieux Salydieu, 85320 Bessay, France). Participants are responsible for their travel costs to and from the retreat center. Unless otherwise specified, the following are not included: travel insurance, airport transfers, any customs, immigration, or health requirements (such as vaccinations), and any personal expenses. Participants are advised to retain sufficient local currency for additional personal expenses.

PAYMENT

To secure your spot at the Dasha Mahavidya Retreat, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining 70% must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. Failure to complete payment will result in the cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive an email confirming your booking within 24 hours.
Please check all booking details carefully. If there are any discrepancies, please contact us immediately to make necessary corrections.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A deposit is required to confirm your registration for the retreat.
This deposit is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason or timing of cancellation.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the retreat start date.
 If payment is not received, the reservation will be automatically cancelled without refund of the deposit.

In the event of cancellation by the participant, no refunds will be issued for any amounts already paid (deposit or balance), regardless of the circumstances.
This policy is strictly applied, with no exceptions, in order to cover fixed costs related to the organization of the retreat (venue, facilitator fees, Anne-Marie’s travel from India, materials, etc.).

TRANSFER OR CREDIT (OPTIONAL, AT THE ORAGNIZERS’ DISCRETION)

In certain cases, participants may be offered the option to transfer their spot to another person or apply their payment as credit toward a future retreat. This is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

CANCELLATION BY THE ORGANIZERS

If the organizers must cancel the retreat due to exceptional circumstances, participants will have the option to choose between:

  • A credit for the full amount paid (including the deposit) to be applied to a future retreat, or

  • A full refund, excluding any non-recoverable external costs (such as flights, accommodations, etc.).

LIABILITY

Milene Mahe-Bau and the organizing team are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during your participation in the retreat. We are not liable for any circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, health crises, terrorism, strikes, or any other unforeseen events that may cause the retreat to be delayed or canceled.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL

If we need to cancel or make a significant change to the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible. Circumstances beyond our control include events like war, civil unrest, natural disasters, or pandemics.

In such cases, we will offer either a credit toward a future retreat or a refund (minus any unrecoverable external costs), in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended and remains the participant’s sole responsibility to purchase personal travel insurance covering cancellation, medical issues, delays, or unforeseen events.

Proof of insurance may be requested. The organizers will not be liable for any additional costs incurred, including transportation, accommodations, or missed work.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The health and safety standards applicable to this retreat adhere to local regulations. Please ensure that you are in good health before attending. If you are pregnant, post-natal, or have any medical conditions, please consult with a doctor before participating. You must inform the retreat team of any health conditions that could affect your ability to participate in the activities.

SPECIAL REQUESTS AND MEDICAL PROBLEMS

Any dietary restrictions or medical conditions must be communicated to us at the time of booking. While we will do our best to accommodate these, we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet all requests. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions that might affect your participation.

PASSPORTS/VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the correct passport and any required visas for travel to France. Please ensure that you have all necessary health documents or vaccinations as required by your home country or for travel to France.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Please note you are responsible for your and your party’s actions. If we believe your actions or those of your party could cause danger, upset or annoyance to other customers, guests or staff, we may terminate your booked arrangements immediately. In this event, we cannot pay compensation, make refunds or pay any expenses you suffer as a result.

COMPLAINTS

If you have cause for complaint whilst on your course, this must be brought to the attention of Milene Mahe-Bau immediately so that action can be taken to remedy the problem. Failure to report your complaint in this way may jeopardize any claim you subsequently make. Complaints must also be notified in writing by emailing hello@milenemahebau.com within 20 days of the end of the retreat.

Please note that complaints will not result in a refund of any kind, in line with our strict cancellation policy.

COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information is collected when you contact us about a purchase either via , by email, phone, message or make a booking of a product. We may also collect personal information from you from any online registrations including but not limited to our social media pages, subscriptions, newsletters, surveys or competitions etc. Your personal information will never be collected via any channels without your expressed consent.

The user must freely and voluntarily provide the personal data that will be required for registration, which will be treated in accordance with the provisions of current regulations on data protection, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (RGPD) regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data, Organic Law 03/2018 of December 05 (LOPD) regarding the protection of Personal data and guarantee of digital rights, detailed in the Privacy Policy of this website.

We do not share your personal information with third-party organizations who are not involved in fulfilling the purchases you have made from us or as described above, nor do we collaborate with, or have relationships with, any businesses, which serve ads on websites.
